Living in California is considered by some as paradise. The Golden State where everyone wants to live. Enjoy the beaches during the hot Summer while in the Winter you can slide in the snowy mountains

But with the bundle also comes the possibility of facing some natural disasters as in any other part of the world. Sometimes there are floods, landslides and blackouts. We also face the hot waves and the daily bread is the earthquakes.
California is well known by its famous quakes. About 10 thousand earthquakes have been registered every year. The majority of the time these telluric currents go unnoticed.

«El Niño» phenomenon also is at its climax level. This Meteorological Phenomenon on its way through the Earth has altered the whole world climate. In some places the temperatures are too hot and in others extremely cold.
This little «Niño» does not discriminate against anybody and is being reported it’s coming with all his fury.
However this is not aim to alarm you, have a panic attack or make you run all over your house. Instead, it is to highlight the importance of being prepared with an emergency plan that can save lives.

I would also recommend you to register at www.notifyla.org so you can receive text messages with undated information in case of an emergency. Another option is to text NOTIFYLA to 888-777 for updates. For more info visit www.readyla.org

Leaving the contingencies on the side, the most important thing is to focus in readiness.

I’m always wanted to make an emergency kit for my family and now it is time to do it. I will show you how easy is to collect the items you need and put them together in a bag pack. Most of them you already have them at home like can food, flashlight, change of clothes and water. So, let’s do it together!!!!!!!
